Since 2005, our real estate division has been a diversified, global operation, with investments in a multiplicity of sectors and locations. We have managed numerous real estate projects and often taken an ownership position. Our real estate management projects and investments have made major investments in residential, urban and city office buildings, distribution and warehousing projects and a assortment of real estate operating companies.

China’s property sector took off in 1998, when Chinese citizens were granted the right to buy their own homes. Since then, China’s property sector has seen an average rate of growth of 22 percent per year, fueled substantially by a large amount of investments flowing into the market.

Far East Chrome Ventures Limited has taken a long term, strategic method to investing outside and inside the Peoples Republic of China. We began by identifying unique opportunities in Shanghai and Beijing and made our first acquisition in Shanghai/Hong Kong in 1995 with other partners. Since then we have made additional investments in the United States mainly relating to Real Estate.

Far East Chrome Ventures Limited’s involvement in the Peoples Republic of China has been on an even larger scale. After spending years diligently reviewing the marketplace, we raised our first fund, with US$1.2 billion of committed capital, in 1996. Our second Fund closed in 2002 with total committed capital of US$2.6 billion.

We have now entered the South American Market with the same calculated approach, pulling together a team of talented investment and operating professionals with specific local market knowledge and experience and we have subscriptions for capital that total over US 1.8 billion.
